The 11th China Filling Mining Technology and Equipment Conference and the 9th China Mining Safety Technology and Equipment Management Conference, jointly organized by the Mining Academic Committee of the China Nonferrous Metals Society, Changsha Mining Research Institute Co., Ltd., Hunan Nonferrous Metals Society, and Mining Research Journal Publishing (Changsha) Co., Ltd., successfully concluded in Chenzhou, Hunan from July 20 to 22, 2022.

     The conference is themed "Green, Low Carbon, Beautiful China; Safe, Efficient, and Harmonious Development", with nearly 200 units and nearly 700 representatives from industry associations, mining enterprises, and universities attending the conference. He analyzed and discussed the current development status of filling technology in China, key points of automation control, existing problems, company solutions, and typical application cases from multiple perspectives, and shared industry application achievements with attending representatives.

     The stability of the filling process refers to the maintenance of process parameters such as filling concentration, filling flow rate, and ash sand ratio during the filling process. Stability directly affects the quality of the filling body and the filling cost. Therefore, the key to controlling the filling process in the mining industry is to achieve intelligent control and adjustment of filling concentration, filling flow rate, and ash sand ratio during the filling process.

     To achieve intelligent control and adjustment of filling concentration, filling flow rate, and ash sand ratio process parameters, it is necessary to detect the concentration control of ore discharge in the thickener or sand bin, the liquid level and material level control of the mixing drum preparation system, and the filling concentration control.
